3:59am: hey, I still can draw.
Just because I'm semi-happy with the way it turned out... Not horribly shabby for a 2hr pencil job and a 5hr half-assed stint on Photoshop... Yes I still suck royally with the latter, I don't care. Yes, I still write HTML like how I learned it in 12th grade. No, apparently I don't improve very readily.

9:19pm: *explodes in frustration*
My Alienware died in a big way, no warning whatsoever. I didn't get extended warranty so the normal warranty died a month back. It will freeze upon booting, at the CMOS screen, while I'm changing CMOS settings, and rarely it will boot all the way to windows only to freeze shortly. I switched the power source thinking that was the problem, but the freezing still continues -_- sigh. Maybe it's the video card. Maybe it's the damned motherboard. Maybe it's the RAM chips. bah... it's so hard to get my fingers around all the components.

2:20pm: Some more FFXI stuff
 Yay, after 20 hours (no shit) of endlessly farming an unbuyable ingredient, I finally master cooking. Ironically, I kill myself with my own cooking. Stage#1: 800 berries > 400 Rolanberry 881 (that's 400 stupid crawlers killed) Stage#2: 400 Rolanberry 881 > 300 Rolanberry 874 (+300) Stage#3: 300 Rolanberry 874 > 80 Rolanberry 864 (+80) Stage#4: 80 Rolanberry 864 > 40 Royal Jelly (+40 and about 30 other mobs that surround the area) And I ended up with 5 Jellies leftover and there's absolutely nothing to be done with them 9_9 bah. ( Lots more screencaps I had piled up )

 9_9 of course I get the awesomest lots trying to get relic armor. I think my lot on Summoner's Spats was in the 40s, too. On the other hand Black Mage relic looks really cute with a beastman helm. Whenever I run around town with it on, my Japanese friends start calling me an owl... well, now that she's all in black I guess the image is even stronger =_=;; It's definately a slick-looking set though :D now just need the hat to complete the gothy-nightmare-munchkin look. ( And blowing the crap out of Diabolos... )

4:55pm: FFXI again
~3 months until the new expansion, Treasures of Aht Urthgan or something (some of these names I swear the SE people bashed their palms into the keyboard to create) and it comes with several more jobs, including Blue Mage, and hella-gay pirate Corsair. Blue Mage, ok.. it's blue magic... learn moves from monsters, replicate them for an MP cost. Its artifact armor looks blue. Corsair looks like a frilly PINK (no, it's not salmon, it's just freaking pink) pirate from Disneyland. It's not even a melee job, it shoots mobs with status-down bullets or something, with a Gamble sort of random ability. Sounds dumb :F ( And now for more Fellowship NPC stuff... )

How the fuck do I manage to crash my computers so many goddamned times... Somehow uninstalling a program I manage to uninstall a vital WinXP bootup file -_- Lappy won't boot up past the CMOS without error message. Blah.

3:17pm: DQVIII
PUFF-PUFF. BATTLE OF THE BULGES. PELVIC THRUSTER. omg, this game cracks me up.

7:46pm: So easily distracted :o
My Alienware computer came in. It's *HUGE*. Hell the box it came in is like, four feet high... The case itself is still really ugly but it's got glowing red eyes ... so I suppose it is passable. But when they said full-size tower, they really meant full... Anyway, I still haven't finished Colossus for a few reasons. Dragon Quest VIII and the FFXII demo. Honestly, I'm not terribly impressed by FFXII's battle system; it reminds me of playing FFXI since it's all realtime (well, with a menu wait option) but with the usual simplified menus. The graphic designs are definately gorgeous though. And the real reason I stopped Colossus is because DQ8 is just so fun :D SLIMES. btw, Lunar:Dragon Song sucks pignuts. you can't even designate which enemy to attack.

11:14pm: Colossus
Good grief is this game frustrating. In a good way. Somehow getting tossed around on a gigantic bucking bronco ... hairy stone thing, is kinda invigorating. The little bull one pissed me off in a bad way though. x.X getting knocked down was bad enough, but getting STUNNED, and then the moment you get up the thing rushes you again and you have maybe a 50% chance of rolling out of the way in time... sucks. ( More FFXI NPC amusing asfhjaklfhkawufhajsfkajsf bits. . . . . . . . . )

2:08am: Shadows of the Colossus
Kot mentioned this game was out. GODDAMN IS IT OUT. I still stand by the belief that Sony should not have released this game for the PS2. It's just too goddamned beautiful. Granted, the hero (or whatever he is... haven't quite decided...) doesn't really grow. But daaaaaaannng those monsters are h00j. And omg that damned bird >_< Oh yeah, and I bought an Alienware desktop =_=

9:23pm: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
I finally dropped by Fry's to do some binge shopping and picked up Dawn of Sorrow (among other things) since it started with the name Castlevania. Sure, I liked Aria of Sorrow a lot, but from first glance Dawn looked a whole lot like Aria Deluxe or something. I wasn't really far off. Exact same good-guy staff, except done in anime style designs ripped from Kojima's artwork. Some prune ala Circle of the Moon decides she wants her dark master back and tries to get some treacherous lackies to grow up into Bad Guy #1, or else turn Soma to the Dark Side if all else fails. Naturally since Soma kicks all their butts in exactly the same way as Aria, all else fails and she tries to turn him to the Dark Side (which is a little amusing if you forget to equip a certain silly item... he does and it's game over xD) and when that fails yadayada. Story is dumb. Dunno how some priestess of some random Dracula-worshipping cult could have a castle that rivals Dracula's, either. Being that it's a Gameboy DS cart, it has to have the gratuitous touch-screen action, which comes in the form of having to draw certain symbols on the screen in a really SHORT timespan in order to permanently kill bosses. Touchscreen is also used for having your pet demons attack specific enemies (which is useful) or breaking certain blocks (not really useful as there's not many). Fighting bosses with the stylus between your teeth is a little rough :o On the other hand it's still an awesome game. The music rocks and the graphics are gorgeous for a side-scroll platformer. There's background elements like buildings and such which are polygons and makes for some really neat scrolling backdrops. Some of the bosses are actually pretty damned hard too, especially since you can only carry 9 of each item, and stuff/abilities that can restore hp are slim pickings (thank gosh for Ghoul soul and being able to easily farm Rotten Meat) As usual Soma can use a bunch of different types of weapons, and it's amusing to see this kid (I guess he's still in his teens) waving around an enormous great axe. I think my favorite part of the bonus stuff in the game is that the Julius mode is a total tribute to Castlevania III... complete with SotN Alucard =DDDDDDDD and his bat form has a swordbelt. And Project Majestic Mix's Trance CD is really nice O.x

Aye, Jey has been out of the loop for a really long time. Sorries to Cat/Sappi/Maha/etc.; at least I have AIM on most of the time nowadays. Still playing FFXI! Yes, and I'm still playing way too much FFXI. Believe it or not, I'm just more of the same old Jey... just haven't really picked up the pencil for months. And my desktop PC is still dead.
Square-Enix released their 5th Final Fantasy Creatures (<-- I almost forgot how to insert a link, but I remembered! go me) set last month... I'm STILL flattening the boxes. Why? i bought ten boxes of ten =_=' Sooooooooo many Giant Crabs, not funny. Yuna's final dress from the 2nd Fanbook is really damned nice too. Secret figure is Safer Sephiroth - yah topless Sephiroth with various wings and wisp- light-as-air in lieu of legs >_>; and yes, I still think Sephiroth is fugly so t(`--`t to all you fangirls
Speaking of Sephiroth... I'd also bought the LE version of Advent Children (not the uber-box... although now I kinda regret not getting it since th Cloud/Fenrir figures are way cool, but the FFCs had priority) is it just me, or does AC Sephiroth look like a corpse? `-`; And............. (for those who have played Star Ocean 3) did Kadaj use Symbology when he summoned Bahamut Sin? because it sure looked like it. And um... Yuffie needed more screentime... lots more. Needed a lot more Cid too. Otherwise '--')b good work SE (for once)
I also picked up a box of the Star Ocean & Radiata Stories trading figures...and damn, they're really h00j (and nice). I don't know anything about Radiata Stories, but the Fate/Sophia figures are very detailed (stenciled eyes), and while Claud is unfortunately lacking, Rena is very cute. I dunno why she's wearing modern-style panties though. The secret figure Ethereal Queen (megaboss in an optional megadungeon) is just amazing, though she doesn't balance on that tiny base of hers all that well...
Anyway o.o; Parents over for the weekend asfakahkuhakwhakwl sorry Kamo =v=;

yeah, um, hi >_>;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I'll leave the juicy bits for later, as I'm busy turning my apartment upside-down >< Moving into a condo in January, have to give up two of my kitties somehow because the complex only allows two cats (and the square footage minus the master bedroom claimed by my folks is much less than my current apartment), and um, beating the crap out of FFXI and various GBA games while working for a living has sorta left me in a loop @.@;;; The thing that bothers me the most is having to give up two of my cats -_- well, either the lady at work will feel ready enough to take them in time (probably Doc and Marty since they're more laid-back and less prone to knocking things over), or my folks'll take them back to San Diego to join the two cats my brother abandoned >< mreh. Ummm... KH:COH has been eating my mind... the Riku v. Riku clone fight in Twilight Town is JUST SO FU#@W#T%ING IMPOSSIBLE i keep getting it to the half of its last bar (out of like, 4 ><) of health before it kicks real-Riku's ass and #%&*)*%#&%@ I HATE RIKU'S DECK and um. yeah -.-;;;;; I think I beat Marluxia with only one Cure card left through the last half of the fight =.=;;; talk about marathon... Omnislash is overrated, high-level attack cards staggered with 0 cards all the way >_< And of course FFXI... um. I'll ... talk about that later I guess @.@;;; But the game really makes me want to go visit my friends in Japan x.x;;;;; except that I can type romaji a lot better than I can speak it, ahahah. Anyways, later ><;

1:59pm: hahahah Z_Z
Well, had fun for my birthday. Other than the laggy workday and the dfjkahgkasgasmillion Vegas red traffic lights I ran into it was nice ^^ had a fear that my desktop was dead after the windstorm from a couple nights ago had made my cable spaz (and probably nuked my desktop enough to make it stop powering on, but Flinkie came over and tabbed the power switch in the back, and I felt like a dweeb but at least Sharon is online again ^_^; Had to drag Flinkie to Fry's after to get his laptop fixed since its CPU fan decided to just up and DIE (after having it all of 12 days) and in the meanwhile I bought Ghost in the Shell SAC v.1 and Heat Guy J v.7 (*sigh* can't even watch it, nor v.6, since I can't find v.5 anywhere mysteriously ><;;;;) Ghost in the Shell SAC is worth it just for the brainpoppingly WHATTHEHOLYFUKKWASTHATOMGCUTEARGH shorts after each episode called "Tachikoma no Hibi" ^_^;;;;;;;; Went to Osaka's after for some good Nihon-Ryouri and popped the DVD in Flinkie's now-working laptop... Dinner and an in-flight movie, yum. Oh well... other than that... back to the grind z.z;
